Bunny Plaza

Where bunny love roams free

Welcome to the home of Bunny Love. I am your host, HeatherBunny, and look forward to exploring the wonders of bunniness--including how to maintain the bunny perspective--with you today!

To be succinct, bunny love is what happens when two people fall into amorous bliss and STAY that way. So if you've got that, you're a bunny!

Bunny Plaza is a resource coordinating and promoting All Things Bunny, including stuff about me to keeping bunniness alive in your relationship. That's right--the helpful tips are just seconds away!

My partner and I spend each day celebrating the joys of bunnyhood in a variety of ways. Some of these ways can be elaborated upon here, others will be left to your imagination. I have tried to make the place easier to navigate AND more interesting. Imagine that!

The Role of Humor

The role of humor is a much overlooked one. As such, I direct you to the following:

Dilbert, Master of All Things Nerdlike Visit the man with the Anti-Gravity tie.

The Onion The go-to site for sarcasm, wit and irreverence.

The Role of Exercise

There are many forms of exercise, all with their correspondingly appropriate benefits. Good exercise, especially when done with one's mate, promotes a sense of unity, excitement and trust that serves to cement a bunny foundation.

Virtual Biking I love my bike, and I love biking! Someday I'll put a pic of it on here--you'll see why I love biking around everywhere! :)

Good Vibrations, Mail-Order Catalogists Extraordinaire will lead you to all activities pleasurable AND healthy. Go there now!!!

Energize Your Bunny with some extra batteries, in case you forgot to order them from Good Vibes. Don't leave your bunny hanging!

The Role of Gift-Giving

Who knows what you and your beloved are into? As for my Minabunny and I, we are great believers in small, consistent tokens of affection, such as the following treasures:

Bunny Greetings True, this is intended as an Easter card, but BUNNIES deserve attention EVERY day. Send her/him a card now, dammit! uh, sorry, um, send one when you feel like it!!

Sharing Bunny Interests

Minikin and I are both avid readers, from schoolwork to "just for fun." Here are some of our favorite spots:

The Advocate You expected this, didn't you? Well, you should have. The Advocate is one of the top queer magazines published today. News update? Gossip? Health questions? It's all in there, baby.

Curve You should have expected this too. A good lesbian favorite.

The Nation For those who consider themselves Agents of Social Change or the If- You're-Not-Outraged-You're-Not-Paying-Enough-Attention page.

which reminds me...

It's important to be active in your community, your state, your sector of the galaxy...whatever arena you feel most drawn to. Being involved often means corresponding with your governmental representatives, in order to support bunniness (or any applicable subject thereupon). If you don't know who your rep is, check out the:

U.S. Senatorial Email List and
U.S. House of Representatives Contact Page

Making a place where bunniness can not just survive but thrive means being involved. To that end, we support (politically if not financially) things like

ellen&her mom
&
marriage rights now!

The Freedom to Marry Site, (net)working for committed lesbian and gay bunnies in the U.S. Has excellent supplemental links! And we can't forget The Human Rights Campaign. Same kind of thing--supporting bunnies (and others) around the nation!

Building a Bunny Home

It takes a lot of love, commitment, passion and dedication to make a relationship blossom. These sites have some great ideas about how to keep those little buds bloomin'

Queer Living If you need new inspiration for what to do with your love, this is the place to be. This could be a TV show and magazine rolled into one!

we're here, we're beer, get used to it!
Sometimes it's nice to kick back on the front porch. It's early evening, just finished your barbeque supper and you're watching the world go by with your bunny by your side. Good time for a brew? You bet.
