On Becoming A Bunny

The Incredible Adventures of Two Bunnies in Love

Wait a minute. You mean you can become a bunny?

That's right. Bunniness is a state of mind...an alternative lifestyle, so to speak. Bunniness is joyful yet demanding; being a bunny requires a commitment to the bunny perspective which, to be succinct, is this:
All You Need Is Bunny Love

Everything sorts itself out when you've got your bunny by your side. And here comes the short version of how MinikinBunny and HeatherBunny became the bunnies that they are! With BONUS hyperlinks! Multi-media at your fingertips!

Minikin and I met through the net, as many netizens do. We met on alt.lesbian.feminist.poetry (alfp), as we are both poets. Lapsed poets is probably more accurate at present. Busy Bunnies are we. :)

I got pretty swoony over her poetry. She suggested one day that us alfp'ers go to ISCA, and I suggested that we go to Paradox, queer talker extraordinaire, so we could chat real-time. Off we went, good and curious dykes that we are.

We hit it off really well, reminiscing about San Francisco and mulling over romantic trials and tribulations. Little did we know that we'd end up back in the bay area!
pooh finds a bunny By the time I visited her in May, we were pretty swoony. One of the first things we did was buy a Winnie The Pooh video. After a busy day, we came home, popped in the video and cuddled. As we drifted in and out of Poohville, we suspected we were on our way to bunny bliss. Who would have thought a thing like Pooh would be so telling?
Within 3 days I knew I had met the bunny of my dreams. Min came along and agreed a few weeks later, and thus began our bunny life.

A Bunny Union

After a few months of living together we realized we wanted a public commitment ceremony, to affirm our relationship to ourselves, our family and friends. Highlights from our wedding (which will some day include pics) can be found at Bunny Union Station
