Website for a personal coach, focusing on life and executive coaching. I did extensive research into the field before setting a writing style that suited both the client and the audience. In addition to writing about 75% of the website content, I created and implemented the site design.

FusionOne is a leader in the wireless synchronization field. I've worked on just about every kind of writing project there, most of it revolving around MightyPhone. MightyPhone is a wireless service that syncs info from your PC to your phone and vice versa. My job is to make the copy zing.
See the work:
- Search Engine Keyword ads/optimization - Writing for search engines is almost fun! That is, if you like the fun challenge of using keyword lists to develop copy ideas. Luckily, I find that fascinating.
Another way to think of it: I can write haiku that generates 100% clickthrough rates. Now that rocks.
- Yahoo! banner ad and landing page - Segmented content into 5 different markets, based on our user base and the profile for various Yahoo! portals. This campaign launched our official flair for whimsy. I was responsible for copy and web production.
We recently started another campaign (with more banners and landing pages) that is similarly goofy yet targeted.
- HTML e-mail - For each, I was responsible for the copy and the web production.
SMS.ac e-mail - Part of a campaign that included an SMS message, HTML e-mail, banner ads and landing pages. SMS.ac is a very mobile, youthful community of phone users, and the material was targeted accordingly. This campaign generated site traffic 220% above normal levels and a high volume of product signups!
Business Week e-mail - Addressed to Business Week users - busy executives and information workers. This standalone e-mail generated several product signups.
- Customer service emails - I took existing e-mails and made them a little more... user friendly, and created a few new ones. For example, I recommended that reps start signing their name at the end of every email, to give a more personal feel. This page shows 5 out of the 30 that I rewrote.
- SyncML white paper - Not entirely boring paper about SyncML and its application in mobile phones - targeted to working telecom professionals.

During my time at Santa Cruz Web Design, I had the chance to do some copywriting for a travel web site they were putting together. I researched Botswana as a vacation destination, and wrote a country overview and proposed itinerary.
All this, in one day. No editing required.
